The Smallest Spy

Smallest Spy

The Smallest Spy or the dog who worked for the CIA.
Somewhere in my travels out west,
I stopped for gas and this dog starred at me.
Never barked. Didn’t move. Just watched me.

Mesa Arch Sunrise

Mesa Arch Sunrise, Canyonlands National Park, Moab, Utah

Mesa Arch Sunrise in Canyonlands National Park in Moab, Utah.
A popular and beautiful destination for many photographers, both professional and amateur.
If you decide to go, arrive hours before sunrise. It gets busy!

Solitude

Solitude, Beach, Shore, Sand

Solitude. Alone at the beach. Where is everyone?
There was NO photoshop/retouching with this image.
The man was sitting by himself mere feet from the ocean.
It was early in the day, so that might account for his solitude.

BlackBird-SR-71

BlackBird-SR-71

The BlackBird-SR-71 sits on view in the The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center – division of the Smithsonian Museum, Washington, DC.
It was an amazing jet used for surveillance and intelligence gathering. It’s speed and maneuverability have never been equaled (yet).
Further information on the jet can be found on Wikipedia.

Devils Tower

Devils Tower, National Park Service, National Monument, Wyoming

I discovered Devils Tower when I saw “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” in the 1977.
I was stunned to learn that the mountain was real and not a “fictional prop”.
Devils Tower is in the Northeast corner of Wyoming and part of the US National Park Service.

Children

Children are Children, African American, Black American, Children

A group portrait of children taken back in the 1970’s in my hometown Paterson, NJ (home of the great Lou Costello).
I love the girl in the center with her eyes averted to (our) left, starring at her taller friend.
And I wonder where these children, now all adults, are today.

However, I decided to enter this photo contest despite the odds. I can enter 3 photos so I’m asking opinions. All photos are numbered. Please pick the 3 you think I should send and respond on facebook or email those choices to –
