It\u2019s July 16, 1969. In New Jersey, two boys, Splendid and his best friend Eric, built a water-powered rocket for Splendid to blast off and join the Apollo astronauts on their journey to the moon.<\/p>\n

In 1987, ex-astronaut Splendid returns home to find Eric, now a wealthy businessman, seeking revenge for betraying him. With plans to kill him, Eric\u2019s weapon is an alien time machine he discovered. He transports Splendid to the year 2022 to drown in the ocean off the coast of Iceland. He is rescued. Eric perseveres, banishing Splendid to multiple timelines where he survives every attempt on his life, finding his way back to 2022.<\/p>\n

Desperate, Eric believes he\u2019s finally found the perfect solution\u2014sending Splendid (and the woman who has helped him) 65 million years into the past as dinner for the dinosaurs.<\/p>\n
