The sign above the pianist is written in Ireland’s two languages. English is not the native tongue (despite almost everyone using it), Gaelic is. With that fact, all signage, government documents, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING, is written in both English and Gaelic, including car license plates. Working for the government, you must be fluent and it’s taught in schools.
